History
Belair Properties is an established residential and seasonal cottage development nestled along the rocky eastern beaches shoreline of Lake Winnipeg. Our community is a short 1 hour northern drive from Winnipeg along the #59 highway. Within a 15 minute drive in any direction, the white sand beaches of Hillside, Victoria, Albert, Lester and Grand await. Our development has approximately 250 properties ranging from 1/2 to 4 acres and is home to over 30 year round residential homes. Our development was carved out of the Belair wilderness in the 1980's by families seeking both larger properties and a quieter, more rustic location than offered by the established recreational communities in the area.
In the 1990's, a group of seasonal and year round residents recognized the need and benefit of an organizational body and formed the Belair Properties Owners' Association. Since then, our association has acted on behalf of the property owners, both organizing our community events and acting as an intermediate to the local, provincial, and federal governments.
