RULES REGARDING USE OF AIELLO PARK DURING COVID-19...

The park and playground are open but rules regarding COVID-19 must be followed.  Please adhere to signage at the park.  Use of the park and playground is at users own risk.  Equipment is not cleaned or sanitized regularly.  Social distancing of 2 meters must be maintained at the park.  Everyone must continue to follow the rules set out by the Government of Manitoba.  Information and updates can be found on the Government of Manitoba website.  

TRAVERSE BAY BOAT LAUNCH PROJECT UPDATES...

LAWN CUTTER PURCHASED...

Thanks to a $4,000 grant from the R.M. of Alexander, BPOA was able to purchase a rough cut lawn cutter that volunteers will use to keep our boulevards cut.  

RAFFLE TICKET DELIVERY...

The 2020 fundraiser/donation raffle tickets were delivered on the May long weekend.  Please let us know if you did not receive your tickets by using the Contact Us page.  Please support your BPOA by purchasing / selling the raffle tickets.  Benefits of membership / support can be viewed here.  The draw will take place on August 8 at our AGM.  Purchased tickets can be dropped off at 12 Westland, Belair Properties (mailbox on driveway) or mailed to BPOA, Box 130, Belair, MB, R0E 0E0.

FIRE PIT BY-LAWS AND FIRE BAN POLICY...

Fire ban updates for the RM of Alexander as well as RM of Alexander Fire Pit By-Law, Fire Ban Policy, and other By-Law & Policy information can be found on the RM of Alexander website.

CYLINDER WASHED ASHORE...
A cylinder described in the link below washed ashore by Alberto Aiello park.  It was reported to the RCMP and the Military.  It was picked up by the Military.  If you come across such a cylinder, stay away from it and notify the authorities immediately.

SEASONAL WATER SERVICE...

The seasonal water service has been turned on for the 2020 season.  This service is provided by BJ Trainor Holdings Ltd.  Clifton Trainor can be contacted for updates and/or other concerns regarding seasonal water:

LUNNEY ROAD PUMP HOUSE...

Water service is provided at the heated well station located on Lunney Road.  The service is available 24/7 365 days a year.  Water is not tested and should be boiled before use. Please refer to the Province of Manitoba signage posted on the pump house.
