History is important for a community. It connects us all. Whether we are newcomers to the community, or whether our families have been here for generations, the street names and the way they’re oriented; the schools we attend; the businesses we patronize; the food we eat; and even the water we drink all have ties to the past. The celebration of the first seventy-five years since the incorporation of the area known as “Alexander” covers an incredibly transformative period in region.
